Art...

I recently had the opportunity to work with Stephanie Guttenplan—a super cool photographer (and talented web designer), who shot me in this early 90's gown. To make a short story even shorter haha,  the darkness of this photo is what I really love—kinda creepy in a beautiful way.

Power to the Prints Part II

Power to the Prints Part 2

As you can see, it's another print party...woo-woo! Truth be told, printed garments are just so underrated—they don't receive enough credit for their awesomeness and sadly, people can be so intimidated by them (for like, no reason)...UGH! Take a look at what's above... 2 lovely printed blouses paired with great stuff...2 lovely blouses that can be swapped with each other and still look great with the remaining items... that's not all—wanna dress up those looks a little more? Pair them with pumps and voila...magic. Plus, both blouses are under $25 each, which means they're affordable...Yayyy.

Power to the Prints Part I

Power to Prints Part 1
Soooo spring is pretty much here (well, sort of), but that doesn't mean you have to put all your winter blouses away (at least not the ones that are sort of lightweight)... Spring 'em up a bit by pairing them with light-colored pants, skirts, or jeans (see examples above). Don't you just love printed pieces...specifically blouses?! If not, please get with the program. Oh, and the above blouses can be swapped with one another and they'd still match the other items nicely—only $25 & under for each blouse... better grab 'em up—you can wear them all year round!!!

Hello there...

Sooooo this is not actually about my outfit, nor my cup of chai from the ever-so-classy Dunkin' Donuts, but it IS about that snazzy jazzy background that you see... it's ART!!! My beau and I were strolling through the Boerum Hill neighborhood in Brooklyn this past weekend and stumbled upon this beautiful house. Apparently the artist, Susan Gardner, wanted to make a "celebratory statement" literally on her house and that's exactly what it is. This beautiful mosaic caught my attention from the beginning of the block... It's on 108 Wyckoff (between Hoyt & Smith Streets) and it's just jawdropping! If you're in Brooklyn and happen to like this type of stuff, you should go see it. I thought it looked pretty cool with my leopard print jacket. Anywhoo, my red snakeskin clutch that you see is a vintage-ish 1980's Giani Bernini—it's my fave and goes with any and everything... and that is pretty much it, sorry I couldn't end this any more awkward...

Thank you TNEMNRODA!

Yes—this was a selfie. #shamelessselfie

Last week, I received a very special, awesome package in the mail from a super fab lady—Samantha Smikle (owner of TNEMNRODA & my new fave jewelry designer). In that package were her lovely gold midi rings! They are super sexy with a boho chic twist to them, which is why I find them simply irresistible. I wore them all week and weekend on different fingers each time. They are also adjustable, which is perfect!
Thanks again, Sam!! I <3 them!
