Two weeks ago, I had the awesome opportunity to hang out with (and be featured by) my friends & favorite couple—Stacey & Jahri, the Peculiar Artistry duo (power couple on the rise), are absolutely delightful to work with & in general! They're super coooool & they made me look pretty neat (since I'm mostly a mess), which was wonderful. Check out their blog, it's a great resource for finding new artists, talent, & just simply amazing individuals. Earth Day(s) Continued...

As you all know, Earth day was Monday, but I like to think of it as a week instead—meaning I will be sharing a few eco-friendly brands/places that you all should check out. Recently, I had the chance to work with MerelyMe, an eco-conscious clothing, jewelry, and accessories brand based in NYC and I must say, I love their products!!! Not only are the designs boho chic yet sophisticated (how I like it), but they're made of 80% recycled paper and fibers. Oh, and they even package & ship the items in recycled/re-crafted paper that looks pretty enough to keep... totally not joking. Anywhoo, I'm modeling the handcrafted linen sunflower hair pins, with pearl drop earrings, a reversible leaf top, a ring made of recycled paper, and a re-purposed silver chain necklace with paper beads (shown above)... I absolutely loved the entire shabang, but I kept the earrings, which happen to go with everything. 

Oldies but Goodies...

Soooo it's not "throwback Thursday," but it is "what a long time ago Wednesday" (at least it seems about right). This was me... 2 years ago in the city... shot by photographer Bryan Richardson. Boy, do I miss my septum piercing...ugh, memories. Anywhoo, he's a really great portrait/lifestyle photographer based here in NYC and he's a pleasure to work with! Bryan & I will hopefully be collaborating again soon, so please stay tuned!

As you all know, Coachella has begun and sadly, I don't think we will be attendance, BUT... this is our tribute outfit! Bum-Cake's Linen Bow Crop Top, some cute denim cut offs, a fringed bag to carry your life in, a little heart ring, some friendship bracelets, striped glasses, and some awesome striped wedges—not usually big on bold chunky shoes, but it's Coachella—if anywhere, this is where you'd wear something like these... it's kind of a MUST.
